Ruth is survived by one son, Ronald Dreher and his wife, Mary of Harbor Beach; one daughter, Rhonda Shriber and her husband, Ken of Dimondale; 6 grandchildren, Debbie (Mark Jackman) Lemanski, Christopher (Debi) Shriber, Nicholas (Yolanda) Shriber, Jonathan (Kelly) Dreher, Ron (Shannon) Dreher Jr., Andrea (Sam) Lewis; 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger; five sisters and three brothers.

Biography

Mrs. Ruth L. Dreher, 91 of Dimondale and formerly of Minden City, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 with her family by her side at the Dimondale Nursing Care Center while under hospice care. She was born on April 4, 1927 in Detroit to the late George and Mary (Hipp) Deike. She married Emerson H. Dreher on July 6, 1945 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 16, 1994. Ruth was a graduate of the Minden City High School. She was a parishioner of Trinity Lutheran Church in Forestville where she belonged to both the Altar and Ladies Guilds. She loved bowling and was a member of the Emerson Plumbetts Team. Ruth enjoyed baking and was deemed the world’s best baker by her beloved family. She also enjoyed cooking, bowling, word searches and spending time with her loving family.
