Family of the Deceased

Sharon is survived by her husband, Gary of 43 years; daughter Jessica Rice and special friend Tom of Royal Oak; sister Loretta (Larry) Biniecki of White Rock; brothers Alvin (Marge) Roggenbuck of Harbor Beach, Stanley (Barb) Roggenbuck of Harbor Beach, and Ken (Connie) Roggenbuck of Harbor Beach. Sharon was preceded in death by a son, John and a brother Steven Roggenbuck.

Biography

Sharon Jean Rice, 61, of Huron Township, passed away on October 20, 2014 at Lakeview Extended Care in Harbor Beach. Sharon was born on November 11, 1952 to the late Clem and Ruby (Morley) Roggenbuck in Harbor Beach. On December 5, 1970 Sharon married Gary F. Rice at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Harbor Beach. Sharon was a past member of the Kinde Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, played volleyball and softball in the ladies league in Kinde, was a member of the St. Edward’s Altar Society in Kinde, taught catechism for many years and was a Eucharistic minister. She loved spending time outdoors, talking long walks in the woods and fishing. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
