Funeral Information

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 am Wednesday, April 22 at St. Mary Church of St. Isidore Parish in Parisville. Rev. Todd Arnberg, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Zinger-Smigielski Funeral Home in Ubly on Tuesday form 1:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 am at St. Mary Church only. There will be a joint rosary by the Daughters of Isabella and St. Mary Rosary Sodality Tuesday at 4:00 pm and a parish vigil service Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Both services will be at the funeral home. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund. Theresa is survived by her husband, Norman of Bad Axe; three sons, Allen and his wife, Denean of Harbor Beach, Thomas of Harbor Beach, Brian and his wife Stephanie of Ruth; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Norman Jr., one sister, Katherine Siemen and her husband, Leonard, one brother, Joseph Lautner Jr. and his wife, Zeta.

Biography

Mrs. Theresa M. Lemanski, 83 of Bad Axe, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at her residence while under hospice care. She was born on October 13, 1931 in Minden City, daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa (Renner) Lautner. She married Norman Lemanski on October 18, 1952 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Ruth. Theresa was a graduate of the Kelly School. She was a wonderful homemaker and helped farm with her husband. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Church of St. Isidore Parish in Parisville where she was a member of the Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella Fidelis Regina Circle #608 of Bad Axe. Theresa enjoyed her flowers, gardening, canning, garage sales, embroidery and crocheting.
