He is survived by his mother, Eleanor A. Booms of Bad Axe; brothers, John (Sue) Booms of Bad Axe and Lawrence (Ann) Booms of Bay City; sisters, Linda (Jeff) Janks of Bad Axe and Joann (Kevin) OsAntoski of Bad Axe; his special caregiver, Dennis Langley; several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Floyd R. Booms.
Thomas “Boomer” William Booms, age 60, resident of Lincoln Township, passed away at home Thursday, July 18, 2013. He was born June 18, 1953 to Floyd and Eleanor (Roberts) Booms in Bad Axe. Boomer was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bad Axe. He had participated in the Special Olympics and was employed for a time at Thumb Industries. He liked to be around animals and doing his chores around his home.
