A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 29, 2013 at 2 pm at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde. Cremation will follow. There will be visitation on Thursday from 10am until the time of service at 2pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Becky of Kinde; four children, George (Kerrie) Edington of Tampa, FL, Marnie (Philipp) Hauser of Ann Arbor, Jessica Glasser and her fiancé’, Tony Gottschalk, of Filion, and Ashly Glasser (Jenia Vingradskiy) of Denver, CO; and five grandchildren, Dvon, Rory, Abigael, Isabella, and Calleigh. He is also survived by his parents, Michael and Florence Glasser; one brother, Michael; one sister, Pat Kidd; and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas A. Glasser, 59, of Kinde, died Saturday August 24, 2013 at Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on November 28, 1953 in Ashland, Ohio son of Michael and Florence (Walters) Glasser. He married Becky Usher on January 9, 1982. Tom graduated from Ohio State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He and Becky moved to Huron County in 1982 where he began working at the Bad Axe Animal Clinic. He then became a partner at the Clinic in 1992, and became the owner in 2012. Tom enjoyed football, especially Ohio State football. He also enjoyed fishing, playing pool, lifting weights, and most of all, he loved his dogs.
