Funeral Information

Cremation has taken place at Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. He will be buried by his mother at Lakeview Cemetery in Port Hope. Per Timothy’s wishes, there will be no service. Information supplied by the MacAlpine Funeral Home. Timothy’s family would like to thank the loving and caring staff at Birchview AFC Home in Pigeon for taking care of Tim over the years. Family of the Deceased

Tim is survived by his sister, Rosemarie Miller of Port Hope; his niece Kelly Friday and her husband, Lloyd and his nephew Robert Koglin and his special friend, Patty. He was preceded in death by his brother, August Koglin and his brother-in-law, Darwin Miller.

Biography

Timothy J. Koglin, 60, of Bad Axe, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2017 at Birchview Ranch in Pigeon under Compassus Hospice care. Tim was born on March 21, 1957 in Harbor Beach to the late Albert and Marion (Newman) Koglin. Timothy worked at Thumb Industries for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling, painting, coloring, drawing, going to the movie theater, shopping, eating out, and watching boats in Caseville and Sebewaing. Tim also participated in the Special Olympics. His favorite meal was hamburger, fries and root beer.
