Tom is survived by one brother – Donald J. (Joyce) MacMillan of Bad Axe. Four sisters – Karen Lasceski of Bad Axe, Sue (Bill) Streib of Marion, OH, Darlene MacMillan of Bad Axe, and Nancy (Carl) Ziemba of Bad Axe. Special nephew – Stephen MacMillan of Bad Axe. Tom will be missed by nieces and nephews, Marcy Ervick and husband Caleb, Michael MacMillan and wife Stephanie, Michelle MacMillan and special friend Erick, Brian MacMillan and special friend Beth, Kevin MacMillan and wife Emily, Daniel Ziemba, Several great-nieces and nephews, Abby, Zoe, Riley, Nick and Molly, Logan and Leah, Archer and Beckett, as well and many cousins and many, many friends.

Biography

Tom MacMillan, age 61, of Bad Axe, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at McLaren Lapeer Region surrounded by family. He was born on May 19, 1960 in Detroit, son of the late Donald and Dolores (LaPratt) MacMillan. Tom was an incredibly strong and compassionate man, always available to help anyone. Never said no to any request for help, no matter what the situation. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, (fishtillyagetone). Hanging out with friends and family, young and old, and making sure that a lesson was learned when a mistake was made.
