The memorial Mass for Troy will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 25 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Good Shepherd parish in Frieburg. Rev. Charles Hammond, pastor will officiate. Visitation with Troy’s family will be at St. Ignatius Church on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am. Memorials have been requested to the Family Discretionary Fund. Troy is survived by his wife, Stephanie Fain; his daughter, Madison; his father, Lawrence Osentoski of Bad Axe; his mother, Lana Padilla of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Barry Osentoski of Virginia Beach, VA, Joshua I. Nichols and his wife, Nadine of Las Vegas, NV; aunts, Kimberly Shemka, Rita Osentoski, Kelly Langenburg, Kari Walsh; uncles Craig Walsh, Bryan Walsh and Daryl Walsh. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pete “Mark” and Delores “Evelyn” Walsh ; paternal Floyd and Lucille Osentoski; three uncles, Randy Walsh, Robert Osentoski and Harry Osontoski, two aunts, Harriet Lamke & Marion Sopsich; two cousins, baby David Nichols and Ashley Walsh.

Biography

Troy was a 1992 graduate of Cass City High School. He attended Community College of Southern, NV. Troy’s passion was golf and it showed in his dedication for his high school team. He was very proud to have held the hole in one state record. He was a valued employee with Kiesub Electric for 15 years before he suffered a serious work related injury that he never fully recovered from. For the past three years, Troy fulfilled his life with his love of following all the Michigan sports teams.
