Biography

Virginia Irene Kriete, 88, went to be with her heavenly family August 11, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Saginaw Michigan. She was born April 22, 1934 to the late Casimer and Martha Pyrek. She married Raymond William Siemen October 25, 1952. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1989. Virginia was lucky enough to fall in love again and married John (Jack) Kriete April 18, 1995. Virginia enjoyed visiting with all their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an exceptionally good sport at playing cards with the little ones, they always seemed to win which made her the favorite. Her table centerpiece included a dish of goodies, many times homemade. She loved to cook, bake and host family parties. When Virginia married John, her family grew and so did her heart. During their 27 years of marriage they spent time boating and traveling. Virginia enjoyed her time at her home in Harbor Beach watching the birds and squirrels on her back patio or painting in her art room. She was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Holy Name of Mary Parish in Harbor Beach and the Port Sanilac Lions Club. Her love of animals inspired her to support the Leader Dogs for the Blind.
