Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Wallace will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 1 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church of Port Hope with Rev. Eric Kilmer officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Wallace will be in the church on Monday beginning at 11am until time of services at 1pm. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. He is survived by his children: Aaron Schave of Las Vegas, NV, Ray Schave and his wife Gail of Oscoda, Lynne Dickens and her husband Gary of Westland, and Lori Parcha and her husband David of Anchorage, Alaska, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two sisters: Burnetta MacFarlane of Redford and Laverna Fantore of St. Clair Shores, and brother John Schave of Port Hope. Wallace was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brionna Love.

Biography

WALLACE J. SCHAVE, age 88 of Westland, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Garden City Hospital. He was born on June 27, 1926 in Bloomfield Township to the late John and Alice (Paschke) Schave. He and Virginia Brown were united in marriage on December 6, 1947. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2009. Wallace was a truck driver for Central Transportation, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, baseball games, and going out for dinner.
