Huron County Road Commission Alerting Motorists To Road Closure Next Week

The Huron County Road Commission is alerting motorists to a road closure beginning next week for a bridge replacement project.

Starting August 10th, Schock Road will be closed between Atwater Road and Leppek Road while crews replace the bridge over the White River with a new box culvert. The project also includes approach paving and new guardrails.

The closure is expected to remain in place until October 17th. During construction, through traffic will be detoured using Leppek, Klug, and Atwater roads, while access for local residents will be maintained.

The Huron County Road Commission says motorists should plan for delays and follow posted detour routes.
