Thumb Area COVID-19 Update for 08/01

Today the Thumb Area sees an increase in cases of COVID-19. The updated numbers are as follows-

-Huron County cases remain unchanged from Friday, currently holding at 125 cases with 4 deaths.
-Sanilac County loses one case this Saturday afternoon, holding at 87 cases with 5 deaths.
-Tuscola County sees an increase in four cases, settling at 280 cases with 27 deaths.

The State of Michigan is currently experiencing 82,356 cases and 6,206 deaths as of 3 P.M. Saturday afternoon. These numbers are an increase from those reported Friday, when there were reported 81,621 cases with 6,199 deaths.
