Crash in Bad Axe on M53

At approximately 8:30AM on the morning of February 26th, 2026 there was a two-vehicle collision on M-53 in Bad Axe. The incident occured between a pickup truck and an SUV in front of 935 S. Van Dyke. The Bad Axe Police Department as well as the Huron County Sheriff Department responded to the crash. Both drivers refused immediate medical treatment.
