Lucas Paul Davidson's Case Took An Unexpected Turn In Court Thursday

In court Thursday, February 26th, a competency hearing for Lucas Paul Davidson took an unexpected turn.

Davidson, facing charges in two separate cases, was found competent to stand trial based on a report from Dr. Danielle Paul.

He was offered a plea deal, however, when it came time to waive his preliminary examination, Davidson hesitated, telling the court he'd thought about it overnight and didn't believe giving up that right was a good idea.

His attorney, Michael Murawski, requested an adjournment to speak with his client. The preliminary examination has now been rescheduled for March 13th. at 10am.
