Mark Wesley Rolfe, facing serious felony charges including criminal sexual conduct and witness intimidation, has been arraigned. But prior that he changed his attorney. His new attorney that will be handling his case is an attorney from Grand Rapids James K. Champion.

Despite a push from prosecutors for a tougher cash bond, the court maintained Rolfe's $50,000 personal recognizance bond.

However, the court imposed strict conditions: Rolfe must have no contact with anyone under 18, and specifically, no contact with the two alleged victims. He's also been referred to pretrial services for ongoing reporting.

This legal journey is just beginning.

Rolfe is scheduled for a Probable Cause Conference on March 6th, 2026, followed by a Preliminary Examination on March 13th.

His defense attorney secured some scheduling flexibility, including the possibility of remote appearances.

The stakes are high as the court moves forward with these cases.
