Huron County - Judge Prill, in circuit court, has granted an application to set aside a conviction for Joshua James Ales. Mr. Ales sought to clear a single conviction from November 7, 2018.

The court confirmed Mr. Ales had no other criminal history or pending charges, and had completed all probation and financial obligations, with probation ending September 18, 2019.

The court found Mr. Ales conduct and the impact of the conviction on his life warranted the action, deeming it consistent with public welfare. The relief was granted.
