Huron County Driver Unaware Of How She Ended Up In Field

Authorities in Huron County responded to a traffic complaint early April 2nd after a vehicle was reported off the roadway in a rural area of Hume Township.

Deputies were dispatched at approximately 8:46 a.m. to the intersection of Kinde Road and McMillan Road, where they located a sport utility vehicle in a field. Investigators observed tire tracks leading from the roadway, through a ditch, and into the field, indicating the vehicle had traveled west before becoming stuck.

The vehicle, identified as a 2013 GMC Terrain, was not damaged, and no injuries were reported.

The driver told deputies she was unsure how the incident occurred.

A towing service was called to remove the vehicle from the field.
