Hampton Township Firefighters Fight The Blazes Of Apartment Fire On Easter Sunday

Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in Hampton Township Sunday afternoon.
Public safety officials say the call came in around 3:30 p.m. for a multi-unit building at the Golfview Apartments on West Hampton Road. When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the rear of the structure.
Firefighters launched a coordinated attack from both inside and outside the building, bringing the blaze under control and preventing it from spreading to neighboring units.
No injuries were reported among residents or emergency personnel. However, several occupants have been temporarily displaced due to smoke damage inside the complex.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal's office. Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including neighboring township and city fire departments, county dispatch, and emergency medical services.
