Cass City School's Election Results Questioned

Because the Cass City School District extends into three counties, the election results have been questioned.

After a review of Tuesday's election results, it seems the school district's request to borrow $10 million by issuing general obligation tax bonds may have failed by one vote.

Although the school district is based in Tuscola County, it also extends into Sanilac and Huron counties.

Tuesday's election results are preliminary and not official until each county's board of canvassers verify the results.
