Funeral Service for Marjorie Krause will be on Wednesday at 11:00am at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 to 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in the Cross Lutheran Cemetery in Pigeon, Michigan

She is survived by her children; Roxie (Tom) Hilliker, Brown City, Margaret (Craig) Coopersmith, Beaverton, Ronnie (Vick) Kraus, Lapeer and Fred Seiger, Bad Axe. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Shelly (Brian) David, Dan (Michele) Seiger, April (Shane) Cornell-, Craig (Cherie) Coopersmith, Andrea (Dale) Arsenault, and Aaron Krause, as well as five great-grandchildren; Leigha and Craig Coopersmith III, Ian and Chloe David, Dominick Cornell; and her sister, Dee Dillon of Port Austin. Daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Tobian) Delegato. Married Edward Krause on May 18, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan.

Biography

Married Edward Krause on May 18, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2008. Marjorie was raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she was employed at Federal's Department Store. After the marriage, Edward and Marjorie moved to Roseville, MI to raise their children. They helped build Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School. Both worked with the Youth Groups and Evangelist Visitors and were members of the Ladies League and Men's Club. The retired to Gladwin, Michigan where they helped build two new churches and were very active in the church and community. In 2001 they moved to Port Austin, having loved fishing and camping through the years there. They became members of Cross Lutheran Church in Pigeon. Marjorie's entire life was dedicated to faimly, church, and community. She touched the lives of so many people and was a blessing to all her friends and family. She will be missed but never forgotten.
