Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Bill will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 1pm at Zion Lutheran Church, with Rev. Eric Kilmer officiating. Cremation will follow at Sunset Valley Crematory of Bay City, with Internment in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Bill will be on Monday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, MI. Visitation on Tuesday will be at the church beginning at 12 noon until time of services at 1pm. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Bill is survived by his wife Barbara Learman of Harbor Beach,MI and his children: William Learman and his wife Jo of Caro,MI ; Jean Marie Learman and her husband Dennis Love of Saginaw,MI; Bob Learman of Northville,MI; Denise Deitzen and her husband Vince of Vicksbuirg,MI; and James Learman of Clare, 8 grandchildren: Jason Learman, Melissa Learman, Krista Learman, Amanda Learmana, Becky Learman, Allison Learman, Ben Deitzen, and Katie Deitzen, his step children: Sharon Myslinski and her husband Dan of Michigan, Bryan Perlick and his wife Collette of Macomb, 4 step grandchildren: Autumn Bianga, Lorianne Liptak, Aubrey Molgaard, and Samantha Perlick, 3 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Evelyn Learman, granddaughter Angela Learman, and sisters: Betty Lou Krueger, Mae Smith, and Carol Pinney.

Biography

William Learman, age 81 of Harbor Beach, MI; passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on March 27, 1935 to the late Lowry and Gladys (McGregor) Learman. Bill and Barbara Somerville were united in marriage on May 18, 2001 in Harbor Beach. Bill was a retired farmer, worked at A & P for 24 years, retiring in 1991, and also worked at H & R Block. He was an avid golfer, liked to play cards, especially bridge, watch sports, read and enjoy his garden.
