Ailine is survived by her two children one daughter Jancie (Ronald) Milz, or Waterford, one son Gerald (Diane) Curran of Bad Axe, one step-son Patrick (Debbie) Weidman, one step-daughter, Marlie Kiehl, and one step-daughter-in-law, Marge Weidman. Ailine has six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Ara in 1928, and Iva in 1977. Preceding her in death also was a special step-son Roger Weidman in 2010.
Ailine A. (Curran) Weidman, age 93, of Pigeon passed away quietly on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. Ailine was born September 22, 1922 to the late William and Lydia (Niebel) Krohn. She was united in marriage to James Curran Jr. in September, 1946 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pigeon. He preceded her in death in 1976. In 1978 she was united in marriage to Harold Weidman at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pigeon. He preceded her in death in 1997. Ailine worked at Bechler's Dairy Bar, Wallace and Morley Elevator Beanery, A&P grocery store, Polewach store in Pigeon, and then at Hamill Mfg. in Bad Axe and Imlay City. She was a former member of the Berne Farm Bureau, Scheurer Hospital Auxiliary, Scenic Golf & Country club, and St. John's Lutheran Ladies Air Society. She enjoyed puzzles, quilting, and working in her yard.
