A funeral mass will be at 11:00am Wednesday, July 6th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle. Burial will be in Saint Joseph and Saint Ignatius Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 Tuesday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon.
Bea is survived by her children Coleen (Brad) Lloyd of Dryden, Joe Flannery of Greenleaf, and Kelly (Dennis) Deciechi of Caseville; grandchildren Rachel (Jeff) Mulawa, Megan (Ben) Willson, Amber Deciechi, Kayla (Cole) Brown, Anthony Deciechi, Ross (Carly) Brown, and Ryan Brown; great-grandchildren Amelia, Annabelle, Hailey, Sawyer, Liam, and Mason; sister Pauline Polega; and companion Elmer Beard. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, husband, son James Flannery, sister Ernestine Langenburg and brother Gordon Langenburg.
Beatrice M. Flannery, 89, of Port Austin, formerly of Center Line, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Scheurer Health in Pigeon. Bea was born January 14, 1933 to the late Joseph and Gertude (Gosdzinski) Langenburg. Her mother died when she was five years old and she was then raised by her step-mother Rita (Abraham) Shaw. She married Richard Flannery at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle; he preceded her in death April 28, 1992. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, gardening and playing cards. Previously she worked at the Center Line Library.
