She was the first born to Robert and Frances (Mace) Rogers on July 29, 1932, in Detroit Michigan. She moved to Caseville after retiring from the Teamsters Local 299 where she worked as a financial secretary in the D.R.I.V.E. office, a job she loved and would continue to work part time after she retired. Betty enjoyed a variety of activities; knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and the occasional round of golf. She especially enjoyed her Sunday afternoons shooting pool with her friends on the Bluewater Inn Pool League. Betty loved cooking large meals for family and friends, classical music and was a real movie buff. Most importantly she adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
