Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at the Kinde Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 with Bonnie Rapson officiating. Visitation will be at the church from noon until time of service. Burial will be at the Colfax Township Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the Kinde Presbyterian Church. Condolences can be shared at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com

Family of the Deceased

She is survived by her three children: Marlene Moore of Fort Worth, Texas; Ernest (Elizabeth) Stoddard of Sand Point, Michigan and Robert (Marcia) Stoddard of Grand Rapids, Michigan; she was loving called “Meme” by her six grandchildren: Kimberly Stoddard of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Brent Stoddard of Hessel, Michigan; Andrew Moore of Texas; Aaron Moore of Arizona; and Carrie Riley of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She enjoyed seeing and hearing stories about her seven great-grandchildren. Clairbelle was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Moore.

Biography

Clairbelle Christina Storbeck, 99, of Kinde, passed away on February 23, 2021 at Huron Co. Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe. Clairbelle was born on July 14, 1921 to the late Daniel and Carrie (French) Randell in Kinde. She had nine siblings, all who have preceded her in death, most recently by Howard Randell of Bad Axe. Clairbelle Randell and Charles Stoddard were united in marriage on October 9, 1937. They had three children. He passed away on April 11, 1978. On August 8, 1980, she married John Bard and he passed away on October 17, 1989. On May 25, 1991 Clairbelle married Maurice Storbeck and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1992. She enjoyed being an active member of the Kinde Presbyterian Church; being involved with many activities including the choir. She was a past president of the Women’s Association. Clairbelle had many hobbies including being a member of the Kinde Senior Citizens and Port Hope Retirees. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, quilting and traveling to Florida and Arizona. Her favorite place was sitting in her back yard on her white swing enjoying the beauty of nature, her flowers and the well-fed birds.
