Funeral Mass for Dennis Jimpkoski will be on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Michael Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish, Port Austin, MI. Visitation will be at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde, MI on Wednesday from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. Cremation has taken place.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Cathy, two daughters, Dena (Bill) Hurren of Kinde,MI and Amanda (Terrence Rundell) Jimkoski of Kinde, MI; his grandchildren, Brent Jimpkoski, Madilyn Jimkoski, and James Rundell, and his brother and sisters, Betty (Jim) Wright, LA; Patricia Jahn, Port Austin, MI; Gerald (Marlene) Jimpkoski, Port Austin; Dale (Brenda) Jimpkoski, Port Austin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Darcy. Also surviving are his inlaws: Harold (Darlene) Heilig, Jeff (Brenda) Heilig, Harold (Brenda) Heilig, Dawn (Dave) Ventline, Steven Heilig, Nickolas Heilig, and several nieces and nephews.
Dennis D. Jimpkoski, 59 of Hume Township, MI died October 13, 2016. He was born October 3, 1957 in Bad Axe Michigan, the son of Edward and Agnes (Leavine) Jimpkoski. Dennis and Cathy L. Heilig were married on July 1, 1978 in St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Port Austin, MI. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Lions, and NASCAR. He owned and loved his 1969 Chevy Camaro and enjoyed taking Sunday drives and playing golf. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Port Austin,MI where he served as an usher. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Bella and Daisy. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.
