A Mass of Christian Burial service for Donald K. MacMillan will be held on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 11 am. at St. Hubert Parish-Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe, MI. Officiating will be Fr. Rob Howe, pastor. Burial with military honors will be in St. Columbkille Catholic Cemetery at Sheridan Corners. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Tuesday July 28, 2015 from 1-8 pm., or Wednesday at the church from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. A Knights of Columbus rosary will be offered on Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.

(Joyce) MacMillan of Bad Axe, MI and Tom MacMillan of Bad Axe, MI. 3 Daughters: Karen Lasceski of Bad Axe,MI ;Sue (Bill) Streib of Caledonia, OH, ; Nancy (Carl) Ziemba of Bad Axe, MI 7 grandchildren: Marcy (Caleb) Ervick of Florence, KY, ; Michael (Stephanie) MacMillan of Peck, MI ; Brian MacMillan of Flushing,MI ; Michelle MacMillan of Lake Orion,MI ; Kevin MacMillan of Incline Village, NV ; Daniel Ziemba of Bad Axe, MI ; and Stephen MacMillan of Bad Axe, MI. 6 great-grandchildren: Abigail, Zoe, Riley, Nicholas and Molly Ervick, and Logan MacMillan and 1 great grandchild on the way. Preceded in death by: Sister- Emily Reed
Donald K. MacMillan, age 86, of Bad Axe, MI, passed away at his home Saturday July 25, 2015 with his family by his side. Donald was born in Bad Axe on October 27, 1928, son of the late Angus and Emma (Kirsh) MacMillan. He married Dolores LaPratt on November 10, 1951. She preceded him in death on June 19, 2003. Donald was a member of the Bad Axe Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and jigsaw puzzles. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
