Funeral services for Elaine will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday April 18th at 11:00 with Rev. Dodge officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday April 17th at MacAlpine Mac Chapel in Bad Axe from 2-8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 7:00, and also 10:00 until the time of service on Wednesday at St. John’s Church. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. Memorials may be offered to the Family Discretionary Fund. Condolences can be shared at www.macalpinefuneralhome.com

Elaine is survived by her children Donna Inda (Frank), of Port Austin, Robert of Port Hope, Deb Burzyck (Marty) of Elkton, Duane (Bonnie) of Port Hope, and her sister in law Geraldine Koth; her grandchildren Christopher Inda (Brandi) , Brian Inda (Jennifer), Kelli Kozlowski (Michael), Leroy Jr. (Julie), Sara Koglin, Johnathon Koglin, Allan Koglin (Meagan), Matthew Koglin, Eric Koglin (Carrie), Chauncey (Christine), Kimberly Koglin (Matt); and her great grandchildren Austin, Connor, Aaron, Dakota, Laken, Charlotte, Bentley, Keagen, Sophia, Blake, Madison,. She was preceded in death by her son Leroy, Daughter in law Colleen, and her brother Merle Koth.

Biography

Elaine was born in Detroit MI on June 22nd, 1929 to the late Clarence and Gertrude Koth. She married Albert A. Koglin on November 11th, of 1950. They enjoyed 30 years of marriage farming and raising their family on their family farm in Port Hope. He preceded her in death on August 22nd 1980. Elaine was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Port Hope, and the Amvets’ Auxillery. She enjoyed playing Bingo and farming.
