A funeral mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 21st at St. Roch/OLPH Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in St. Roch Cemetery. She is survived by her children Betty Anne (Thomas) Horning of Florida, Gail Marie Osborne of Virginia, Mary Lou McGeathy of Illinois, Sue Anne Addy (Keith Matz) of Whitmore Lake, Richard Joseph Jr. of Illinois, Therese Joan Neilson of Ohio, Peter Joseph (Cindi) of Bloomfield Hills, Dennis Jospeh and David Joseph (Sherri) both of Caseville; grandchildren Daniel, Adam, Ethan, Sarah, Richard, Travis, Jaime, Jacob, Ben, Addy, Joey, Jeffrey and Jennifer; great-grandsons Elijah, Quintin and Alaster; brothers Jim (Marilee) Cilc and Anthony (Geraldine) Cilc both of Caseville, sisters Blanche Wilfong of Idaho, Sylvia Kanyak of Caseville and Gail (Tom) Swidorski of Hemlock and sisters-in-law Grace Cilc, Jean Cilc and Bertha Cilc of Caseville. She was preceded in death by her son Mark Joseph; brothers O. King, Jerry and Joe Cilc Jr. and sister Olga Schmanski.
Elizabeth “Penny” Addy, 92, of Caseville, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon. Penny was born January 18, 1923 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Mary (Hladik) Cilc. She grew up and attended school in Caseville before moving to Detroit during World War II to work at Cadillac Motors. On September 15, 1945 she married Richard Joseph Addy at St. David Catholic Church in Detroit. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2008. Penny “worked full time” raising her 10 children in the Detroit and Cleveland areas. Having had a cottage in Caseville since the 1950's, she retired there in 1987. She was a member of St. Roch/OLPH Catholic Church and the Caseville Eagles Auxiliary. She loved gardening and writing letters and cards to family and friends.
