Funeral Information

Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Lueke, pastor. Burial will be in St. Felix Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 1-8 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe or at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of service at 11. Marie is survived by: 2 Sons-Bradford (Carol) Langley of Battle Creek and Harold (Lori) Langley of Ubly. 1 Daughter-Brenda Maurer of Bad Axe. Sister-in-law-June Robles. Brother-in-law-Jack Jackson. Grandchildren-Davina Maurer of Bad Axe, Heather Langley of Saginaw, David Maurer of Bad Axe, Amber Langley of Saginaw, Hannah Langley of Battle Creek and Erica Chapman of Grand Rapids. Marie was preceded in death by: Son-Garth Langley. Grandson-Christopher Maurer. Son-in-law-David Maurer. Biography

Emma “Marie” Langley, age 86, of Bad Axe, passed away at her home on Monday, February 20, 2017. Marie was born on September 6, 1930 in Bad Axe, daughter of the late Daniel and Ina (Townley) Reehl. She married Willett J. “Bud” Langley on July 29, 1950 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2011. Marie was a homemaker and cleaned homes as well as cared for her own grandkids. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
