Funeral Information

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, August 4, at the Community in Christ Church, Owendale. Elder Karen Bouverette will officiate with burial next to his parents at Grant Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton and at the church after 10:00AM Monday. Memorial gifts are suggested to his church or the donors preferred charity. The Haley family express our very sincere appreciation to the entire support staff of HCMCF, whether you had blonde hair or rode his motorcycle you provided exemplary care for his 40 years with you, we thank you.

Family of the Deceased

Surviving are three sisters, Lois Rousse of Illinois, Judy Milton of Bay Port and Jewell (Mike) Klekamp of Bad Axe; five brothers, Ervin Haley of Sebewaing, Ernest (Geri) Haley of Florida, Frederick (Sandy) Haley of Elkton, Ronald Haley of New Jersey and Anson (Melanie) Haley of Almont and sister-in-law, Char Keillor. Also surviving are multitudes of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Edward and Ivan Haley; brother-in-law, Larry Rousse, sisters-in-law, Ginnie and Josephine Haley; nieces, Catina Mulqueen and Rebecca Rousse and nephews, Ronald Haley Jr. and Kevin Haley.

Biography

Ennis A. Haley, age 60 of Bad Axe passed away Thursday, July 31, at the Huron County Medical Care Facility (HCMCF), Bad Axe. He was born June 15, 1954 in Bad Axe to the late Aaron and Evelyn (Schember) Haley. After high school “Lakers, Class of 72”, Ennis served in the US Army for 2 years, stationed in Germany. After his army service, he was employed at Sebewaing Industries until an automobile accident on February 14, 1974 totally incapacitated him. He has made his home at HCMCF since September of 1974. He loved his support staff at HCMCF, blondes, motorcycles, auto racing, cartoons and sports on TV. Ennis was a member of the Community in Christ Church, Owendale.
