Funeral Information

Florine chose not to have any services or visitation. There will be a graveside service for the family in the spring. She and Ed will be buried next to Harvey at St Felix Catholic Cemetery, Pinnebog. Memorials may be given to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Caseville, MI and words of condolence may be shared at www.cfcelkton.com.

Family of the Deceased

Surviving are two daughters, Alberta Jimkoski of Pinnebog and Judy St. George of Port Austin; her son, Joe (Judy) St. George of Clarkston; stepson, Timothy (Jae) Parkham of Marine City; stepdaughter-in-law, Maria Parkham of Sterling Heights; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, June Hebert of Bad Axe. Ed preceded her in death just 19 days ago on January 5th, also preceding was her son-in-law, John Jimkoski; grandsons, Nick Jimkoski and Jeff Homrick; stepson, Duane Parkham; five brothers, Adlore, Cletus, Wilford, James, Robert and Peter Hebert and five sisters, Winnifred English, Virginia Hyzer, Lucilla Milton, Marilyn Hebert and Rosemary Bewick.

Biography

Florine T. Parkham age 85 of Port Austin, MI died Saturday evening, January 24, at Huron Medical Center, Bad Axe, MI. She was born July 12, 1929, to the late Nelson and Virginia (Ducharm) Hebert at the old Hubbard Hospital, Bad Axe and grew up in the Pinnebog, MI area. On November 15, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harvey St. George at St. Felix. They made their home and raised their family on a farm in Lake Township, MI. Harvey preceded her in death in 1972. Florine worked as a bartender at the Farmer’s Daughter near Oak Beach, MI retiring in 1981. After living alone several years, she met Ed Parkham. They married October 15, 1983 at St Roch Catholic Church, Caseville, MI. She and Ed traveled for 23 years throughout the US and Mexico in their RV. They remained faithful members of St Felix until it closing.
