Funeral Information

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Lake Huron Church on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 11:30am, Fr. William Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A Parish Vigil Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30pm at Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, where visitation will be Tuesday from 1-8pm and at the church on Wednesday from 10am until the time of service at 11:30am.

Family of the Deceased

Surviving are her children, 4 sons, John (Sharon) Diehl of Rochester; George (Diane) Diehl of Troy; Richard (Carol) Diehl of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and James (Darlene) Diehl of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. 2 daughters, Suzanne (Joe) Gomaluck of Reese; and Kathy (Charles) Meissner of Flint. Twelve grandchildren, Scott (Paula) Diehl, Jeffrey Diehl, Donna (Tim) Smith, Denise (Jim) Saldeiski, Dr (Jason) Diehl, Beth Ann Gomaluck, Brian Meissner, Timmy (Shannon) Meissner, Kayla (Rob) Thompson, and Daniel Meissner. 16 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Clifford Diehl of Harbor Beach, 3 sisters-in-law, Betty Siemen, Dena Diehl, and Doris Diehl and several nieces and nephews. 3 sisters and 1 brother preceded her in death, Helen Lawrence, Gladys Siemen, Irene Kramer and Herbert Siemen.

Biography

Frances E. Tschirhart, age 94 of Harbor Beach, passed away at Harbor Beach Community Hospital on Friday, November 23, 2012. Born in Harbor Beach on March 13, 1918, she is the daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Mausolf) Siemen. Fran married John Diehl on June 10, 1939. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1956. She then married Raymond Tschirhart February 9, 1959. Fran lived in Harbor Beach all of her life and was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Church. Fran was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 5740 of Ruth. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and take care of her children and grandchildren; and her flower garden. Fran loved to play Bridge, belonging to 3 different Bridge clubs, dance club, and various card clubs
