Funeral Information

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11 am. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Lueke, pastor. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe on Monday from 1-8 pm. or Tuesday at the church from 10 am. until the service time at 11 am. Memorials may be offered to Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Survived by: wife-Sandy Iseler of Bad Axe. Children-Kevin Iseler and special friend Tracey Harwood of Bad Axe, Tammy (Brian) Yaroch of Bad Axe and Mark (Dawn) Iseler of Bay City. 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one on the way. Sisters-Shirley Wydra of Frankenmuth, Linda Longuski of Bad Axe, Beverly Greyerbiehl of Bad Axe and Darlene (Keith) Moore of Hemlock. Brothers-in-law-Jim (Margaret) Ritter of Bad Axe and Larry (Marie) Ritter of Bad Axe. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: brother-Curtis Iseler. Brothers-in-Law-Joseph Wydra, Jerome Longuski, and Michael Greyerbiehl Sr. Granddaughter-Bridget Iseler.

Biography

Gene was born on December 19, 1942 in Lewisville, MI., son of the late Edward and Elinor (Elliott) Iseler. He married Sandy Ritter on June 11, 1966 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bad Axe. He worked at Pontiac Motors and was a former employee of Tower Automotive, formerly Active Industries as a machine repair machinist. He was also a lifetime farmer. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Detroit Lions and Tigers, working jigsaw puzzles, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
