erald is survived by his children: Donald Wilson of Cape Coral, FL, Donna (special friend Dave Prichard) Phillips of Sebewaing, MI and Denise (Robert) Hempton of Unionville, MI; grandchildren: Brandon Lopez, Keri (Dave) Miller, Jason (Barb) Phillips, Chris Phillips, Nicole (Benjamin) DeHaan, Daniel Hempton, and Jessica Schwartz; special friends grandchild, Warren Donohue; and 23 great grandchildren. Gerald is preceded in death by his special friend, Dorothy Rievert; and siblings: John Wilson, James Wilson, Robert Wilson, Eleanor Wilson and Vernon Wilson
Gerald Wilson, age 90, of Unionville, MI passed away Sunday, February 9, 2019, at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe, MI. Gerald was born September 17, 1928, in Elkton, MI to Obed and Ossa (Morrell) Wilson. After serving in the United States Navy, he worked numerous jobs, including: Wallace Stone Quarry for 13 years, American Brown Hoist for 18 years, and Active Industries for 8.5 years. Gerald enjoyed reading, going for rides in the car, bird watching, watching western movies, and spending time with family (especially the great grandchildren).
