A memorial luncheon will take place Saturday, March 14th at 1:00pm at the Caseville Eagles Club. A special thanks to Courtney Manor of Bad Axe for the exceptional care they gave Jim. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to A&D Hospice of Pigeon. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
Surviving are four daughters Carlene Cilc (Doug) of Hickory Corners, Bobbie Kasper (Ken) of Caseville, Lee Ann Bell (Jim) of Saginaw and Sandy Kocks of Saginaw; two sisters Sylvia Kanyak of Caseville and Gale (Tom) Swidorski of Hemlock; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers Olrich "King", Joe, Jerry "Badger" and Anthony "Tony"; three sisters Olga, Penny and Blanche and son-in-law Daryl.
James "Ike" Cilc, 95, of Caseville, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. Jim was born December 23, 1924 in Caseville to the late Joseph and Mary Ann (Hladik) Cilc. He married Marilee Clothier, the love of his life, on January 27, 1951. She preceded him in death on October 23, 2016. They were married 65 3/4 years. He worked for over 29 years at Baker Perkins in Saginaw, retiring in 1985. In 1985 he started building their home and moved back to Caseville. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and spending time with his siblings and family. He was a member of the Caseville Eagles for many years and put in a lot of volunteer hours with Marilee.
