Biography

Javen Donald Krohn, 18, of Caseville, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in an automobile accident in Sanilac County’s Delaware Township. Javen was born March 10, 1995 in Bay City. He graduated from EPBP Laker High School in 2013, where he had been a stand-out athlete in soccer (All-State) and baseball. He was a culinary arts student at Baker College, Port Huron in addition to working in the kitchen at Shooters (formerly Shaggy J’s) in Pigeon. Javen was a generous and kind young man, who thought more of others than himself. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and attending church, school and social functions, especially taking family vacations with his friend Wes. Ever the perfectionist, he readily accepted challenges and would not give up until he had mastered whatever it was that was before him; the more he was challenged, the harder he tried.
