Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Lee will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 12 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Bishop Tom Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Lee will be on Friday, from 3-9pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 11 am until time of services at 12 noon. Memorials may be given to the Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center, and the Harbor Beach Gun Club.

Family of the Deceased

He is survived by his children: Debroah Byerley and her husband William, of Oregon, Susan Byerley of Indiana, Linda Gaffke and her husband Robert of Port Hope, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and one brother Dale David. He was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Majeski, an infant son Timothy David, and brother Barry David.

Biography

LEE WAYNE DAVID, age 78 of Harbor Beach, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Lakeview Extended Care and Rehab Center of the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1934 in Bach, Michigan, to the late Norman and Reona (Pine) David. Lee worked as a butcher at Kroger Grocery for many years. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and softball. Lee sailed the Great Lakes for a short period of time, and also was a volunteer firefighter and helped with Hunter Safety.
