Funeral Mass for Raymond Mazure, will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. George Amos officiating. Burial will follow in the OLLH Church Cemetery. Visitation for Ray will be Sunday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, MI. Visitation on Monday will be at the church beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. A Parish Vigil Service will take place Sunday at 7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to the Harbor Beach Lighthouse or the donors choice. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Mazure, is survived by his children: Jeffrey (Mary Lee) Mazure of Traverse City, MI; Lori (James) Romzek of Bad Axe, MI; Michael (Dianne) of Jenison, Morris ‘Jay’ (Mary) Mazure of Gardnerville, NV; Ellen (David) Rapson of Traverse City, MI; Brenda (John) Levaine of Kinde, MI; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Jim (Carol) Mazure of Harbor Beach, MI; and a sister Lorraine (Harry) Ganse of Lancaster, PA. Ray was preceded in death by his siblings: Melvin (Virignia) Mazure, Rose (Gordon) Cooper and Gertrude (Leonard) Wolschleger.

Biography

RAYMOND E. MAZURE, age 87 of Harbor Beach, MI passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 20, 1930 in Harbor Beach, Mi to the late Frank and Alice (Buchkowski) Mazure. Ray served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Ray and Barbara Booms were united in marriage on February 20, 1954 in St. Anthony’s Church in Helena, MI. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2005. Ray was a member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church. He enjoyed eating with his Al’s Restaurant Family, enjoying his Coffee Club, riding his scooter, and trips around Harbor Beach monitoring the towns activity.
