A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25th at Calvary Baptist Church, Caseville, with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating. Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marion Institute, in memory of Rose Storm, 202 Spring Street, Marion, MA 02738. She is survived by her children, Melynda (Gilbert) Rushlau of Grand Rapids, Geoffrey (Debra) of South Carolina and Krista of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jared, Camdyn, Shelby and Justin; mother Gertrude Cudnohufsky of Caseville; and siblings Walter (Susan) Cudnohufsky of Massachusetts, Judy (Raymond) Smith of Howell, Elaine (Dillard) Morris of Clarkston, Fred (Jane) Cudnohufsky of Mason, Sharon Findley of Burton, JoAnn Rouillard of Colorado, Bill (Elizabeth) Cudnohufsky of Massachusetts and Leon (Terri) Cudnohufsky of Lake Orion.

Biography

Rose Marie Storm, 73, of Caseville, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home under hospice care. Rose was born August 10, 1942 in Pontiac to Gertrude (DeGroot) and the late Walter Cudnohufsky. She graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1960. She married Leon “Bud” Storm on January 26, 1963 at Central Christian Church in Pontiac; he preceded her in death on March 21, 2015. In the early 1960's Rose worked as an operator for Michigan Bell. She retired after 20 years employment from Quest Diagnostics in Auburn Hills and in 2004 moved from Lake Orion to Caseville. She was a member of Michigan Farm Bureau and Oakland County 4-H. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
