Funeral Service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am, January 29, 2015 at the Knoblock Funeral Home in Kinde where visitation will be on Wednesday, January 28th from 2:00 – 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Port Austin Township Cemetery.
He is survived by his copanion Betty Reardon children: Randy (Kim) DeBlois, Roxanne (Rick) Roedel, Roger (Lynn) DeBlois, Shannon (Kevin McAlpine) DeBlois, Jessica Braun, Rebeccah (Joel) Stammen and his grandchildren: Josh DeBlois, Meilani DeBlois, Rachel (Josh) Harrison, Miranda Farver, Chloe Farver, Noah Braun, Mya, Nora, and Leo Stammen. Also surviving is one Great-Grandchild, Liam DeBlois. He was preceded in death by siblings: Leroy DeBlois, Winifred Voss, and Roberta Lang.
Warren A. DeBlois, 81 of Port Austin died January 21, 2015 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. He was born August 25, 1933 in Paynesville, Minnesota to the late Oscar and Blanche (Gordon)DeBlois. He served for three years in the U.S. Navy and after which he served in the U.S. Air Force until his retirement . After he retired from the U.S. Air Force, Buzz worked for the Port Austin DPW. Buzz was a member of the American Legion Frank Horetski Port 499 in Port Austin. He enjoyed golf, the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He loved history and spending time with his grandchildren.
