William J. Shaw Jr.,77 of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, September 25, at Courtney Manor, Bad Axe. He was born in Ypsilanti on July 7, 1936 to the late William and Helen “Bunny” (Hutchinson) Shaw. After high school, Bill served two terms in the United States Army. Bill worked as a plumber several years down state before moving to the Thumb in the early seventies. He was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Caseville. Bill was a great help and friend to many people; his wit and humor will be greatly missed. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bill’s special friends, Jane Rosenall, Bill Bollinger, Linda Yantis, Al Collison, and many more. Their time, assistance, and friendship went above and beyond. We can never thank them enough.
