Teenager Honored as International Free Throw Champion

Skills with a basketball won a 14-year old Caro girl a trophy and certificate presented by the K of C Michigan State Deputy Charles McCuen.

Isabella Bennett won the K-C International Free Throw Championship in the 14-Year Old Division.

Her journey to that honor started when she competed in the Free Throw Competition hosted by the Cass City Knights of Columbus Council 8892, which is part of the Diocese of Saginaw.

From there, she advanced through the district, diocese, state, and was ultimately chosen at the international level of competition by the Supreme Council representing Michigan with skill and determination at every stage.

Bennett is a tenth grader and attends Cass City High School.
