Michael Ramsey Appears In Court On Multiple Charges

Michael Ramsey appeared in Huron County District Court on September 14th, 2026, to face charges stemming from an incident on September 12th.
Ramsey is charged with operating while intoxicated, third or subsequent offense, which is a felony.
Additionally, he faces misdemeanor counts of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended, revoked, or denied license, and having an open alcohol container in a vehicle.
Judge Ferris set bond at $8,000, 10% cash surety.
Conditions of release include a strict prohibition on the possession or consumption of alcohol and controlled substances, a ban on entering establishments that serve alcohol, and mandatory participation in random testing through pretrial services. Attorney Dallas Rooney has been appointed to represent Ramsey for the remainder of the case.
A probable cause conference is scheduled for September 24th at 10:30 a.m. A preliminary examination on the felony charge and a plea cutoff hearing for the misdemeanors are set for October 2nd at 10:30 a.m.
