Peck Schools Offering a Special Career Exploration Program

Some of the students who attend Peck High school will have a unique opportunity to explore a variety of careers over a couple of weeks.
The ninth and tenth grade students will participate in the High School Career Pipeline Program.
The program will give students an opportunity to learn about health and human service careers.
The program will explore careers in emergency services, nursing, behavioral services, laboratory services as well as physical, occupational, speech therapy, and more.
The eight-session program is free for students.
The program will be from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the Sanilac Career Center from Oct. 5 to Dec. 10.
Breakfast and transportation will be provided.

Funding for the program is being provided by MI-STEAM Network in the Thumb Community Health Partnership.
School District officials are expected to be able to offer the program to students.
