Tuscola Tech Center Student Wins Nationwide Scholarship

The Tuscola Technology Center (TTC) made an announcement about one of its students.

TTC Welding Alum Jacob Kieliszewski was awarded the nationwide Mike Rowe Work Ethic Scholarship.

The nationwide Mike Rowe Work Scholarship is unique.

The Mike Rowe works foundation awards students "who prove they have real grit, a stellar attitude, and an old-school work ethic for the skilled trades," and Kieliszewski does.

Competition for the nationwide scholarship is tough with students from across the country trying to win it.

Skill center officials are proud of Kieliszewski's accomplishment and they feel he has a bright future.
