Joshua Kraft Charged With Disorderly Person Intoxicated

A Bad Axe man is facing charges following an arraignment in Huron County District Court.
Joshua Lucian Kraft appeared before Judge Julienne Ferris today to answer to a charge of disorderly person, intoxicated, stemming from an incident on September 19, 2026.
Kraft entered a plea of not guilty. While the charge carries a potential penalty of up to 90 days in jail and a $500 fine, Judge Ferris granted a $3,500 personal recognizance bond. Under the terms of his release, Kraft is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol or controlled substances and must avoid establishments where alcohol is served. He is also required to participate in random testing through pretrial services.
Attorney Dallas Rooney represented Kraft for the arraignment, with Michael Murawski appointed as counsel for the remainder of the case. The court set a plea cutoff and hearing date for October 29th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
