Mark Daniel Johnson Charged With Operating While Intoxicated

Mark Daniel Johnson appeared before Judge Ferris today in Huron County District Court. Johnson faces a misdemeanor charge of operating while intoxicated, first offense, alongside a civil infraction for refusing a preliminary breath test.
A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf. The court maintained a $3,500 bond, with 10% already posted.
As part of his release, Johnson is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol and controlled substances, and he is barred from entering establishments that serve alcohol. He must also participate in random drug and alcohol testing through pretrial services.
Judge Ferris granted a limited exception to travel restrictions, permitting Johnson to travel to Arizona to visit family between October 8th and October 15th.
The case will proceed to a plea cutoff hearing on October 29th at 9:30 a.m.
