Akron Township Approves Only One Road Project Due to Questions

The Akron Township Board of Trustees approved some road work.

The board approved spending $22,230 for two brining applications on gravel road to control dust, and to spend $10,100 to expand the township's parking lot.

There was only one road project that was approved. That was to double chip and seal on one mile of Gotham Road from Thomas Road to Ringle Road for $60,552.

The board discussed two other proposed road projects, but because there were questions on the bids no action was taken.
