Elmwood Township Sets New Cemetery Rates

A new fee schedule for Elmwood Township cemeteries was set during the last trustee board meeting.
The policies and procedures Committee for Elmwood cemeteries suggested some new rates.
For the Elmwood Township Cemetery, the rate for a gravesite for a township resident was set at $300 per space, a fee of $1,000 for a four-space lot was set, and the cost is $900 per space for a non-township resident.
The gravesite rates at the Hillside Cemetery for residents was set at $300 per space, a fee of $1,250 for a five-space lot was set, and the rate for nonresidents was set at $900 per space.
With that done, the next cemetery issue was establishing an official cemetery sales and maintenance position.
It was pointed out that Tracey Moore will continue but he needs to be officially approved.
There was no action taken at that time to do so.
